As an organisation which is always commending the benefits of third party advice to business owners and senior managers, it's only appropriate that Edensilk practices it's own beliefs.

Accordingly, Edensilk has appointed a paid advisor in the person of Harvey Collins, to assist us in the formulation and management of our own business growth strategies and tactics.

Harvey Collins BBus GradDipFin FCPA FSIA FAICD has extensive experience at executive and board levels in a range of industries. From 1986 to 1996 he held senior management roles in the banking industry, including five years as Chief Financial Officer of Challenge Bank Limited, a Western Australian regional bank.

Since leaving the banking industry he has held board appointments in industries as diverse as financial services, health insurance, telecommunications, equipment hire, mining services, franchising, and engineering.

Current non-executive directorships include Chairman of Western Australia's largest private health insurer, HBF Health Funds Inc; Chairman of Navitas Limited; Deputy Chairman of Verve Energy; Director of the Government Employees Superannuation Board of Western Australia; Director of Brierty; and Chairman of national printing franchiser, Worldwide Online Printing Pty Ltd.

Harvey is also a director of Hagar Soya Limited, Cambodia; and has been involved in consulting and training in other developing countries including Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Vanuatu.

He is the past Chairman of iiNet Limited (retired Jan 03), and past WA Chairman and a member of the national council of the Securities Institute of Australia, a body representing professionals in the finance industry.

Harvey is currently active on the council of the WA division of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Harvey undertakes consulting assignments via Harvey Collins & Associates, primarily in the areas of corporate strategy, business planning and business performance management.
